ADK Synergy: From Futsal Rookies to Cup Contenders

Who would have thought that a bunch of office ladies with a penchant for kicking balls could actually hold their own on the futsal court? Well, ADK Synergy did just that back in 2015 when they decided to dip their toes into the world of competitive sports.

Armed with nothing but enthusiasm and a couple of Thai imports (we're assuming they brought their own pad thai), the ADK Synergy women’s team stormed the Club Maldives 18/30 Women's Futsal Fiesta like a typhoon. Sure, they might not have lifted the trophy, but they did manage to make it to the quarterfinals, which by no means is a small feat.

Fast forward to 2024, and ADK Synergy is back, but this time with a vengeance. The office warriors have swapped skirts for shorts and are ready to prove that they’re not just good at spreadsheets. With a men's team that’s rumored to be packed with secret footballing talent, ADK Synergy is aiming to dominate the Club Maldives Cup this September.

Can they go from futsal newbies to cup champions? Only time will tell. But one thing’s for sure, the office is about to get a whole lot more competitive.
