Exciting Times Ahead with ADK Synergy: Reflecting on Our Achievements and Looking Forward to New Adventures!
At ADK Synergy, our primary mission is to host, participate in, and contribute to sporting, & social events while offering diverse opportunities for all our staff to achieve success and enhance the organization’s reputation.
Following the election of our new Executive Committee in December 2023, we were brimming with excitement as we set out to plan a year full of fun activities and events for our members. We kicked off the year with the grand opening of our recreational area, the ADK Synergy Club House, in January. We also hosted our very first “Digu League”, a thrilling gin rummy tournament that was a great success!
In February, we organized a Staff Fun Activity Day and a Beach Clean-Up, bringing everyone together for both enjoyment and a good cause. As Ramadan approached, we had a series of special events from March to April. We began with the Shafi’a Hassan Memorial Quran Competition, featuring two categories—Recitation from the Book and Memorization—with a grand prize of MVR 15,000.00 for each category.
Throughout Ramadan, we continued with the Madhaha Competition 1445, where the winner walked away with MVR 5,000.00. We also held a PS Tournament and a 100K Run Challenge, adding more excitement to the holy month.
May saw the launch of our inaugural Carrom Tournament, held in association with the Carrom Association of Maldives from May 31st to June 1st. With over 50 participants, the event was a major hit!
One of the highlights of our annual calendar is the “Dhonkaleyfaanu Cup”, our inter-group futsal tournament that everyone eagerly anticipates. This year’s competition took place on June 27th and 28th, featuring 9 teams in the men’s category and 2 teams in the women’s category.
As we look ahead, we are thrilled to announce a lineup of exciting upcoming events, including a Medical Camp, the Dr. Pandian Cup (Cricket Tournament), a Handball Tournament, and our Annual Staff Trip.
We are especially excited to share that ADK Synergy will be participating in the Club Maldives Cup 2024! We wish our team the very best of luck as they gear up for this prestigious event.
